As noted in the defense department, the main actions will take place at eight training sites in Russia. These are the sites of Totsky and Donguz, Adanak and Ashuluk, Chebarkulsky and Safakulevo, as well as Aleisky and Yurginsky.

Earlier, units of the Black Sea Fleet, based on the Crimean peninsula and in the Krasnodar Territory, began joint command and staff exercises.
