Sopron (AP) - With much praise for Chancellor Angela Merkel and a call for continuous work on the cohesion of the EU, Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban in the western Hungarian Sopron, the 30th anniversary of the first mass exodus of East German citizens to the west. Europe's unity is not completed, it must always be recreated, said Orban. Merkel and Orban participated in an ecumenical ceremony. On August 19, 1989, more than 600 people used the Pan-Europa Picnic near the Hungarian-Austrian border to flee to the West.
