The rescue operation was extended and expert help was called in from the rescue service in East Grevie. With the help of an excavator, a gutter was dug down to the pond. In the end, rescue personnel in wet suits managed to entice the cousin to pick himself up.
The rescue service has, on its own initiative, named the kiss to Rosa.
