This is a petition site post requesting the resumption of the Exhibition of the Girl Prize of Peace, which has been suspended since the 3rd

The discontinuance of the Exhibition of the Girl Award of Peace was pointed out as a state censorship of expression and criticized the audience as capping the various impressions and opinions that viewers would see and create.

More than 26,000 people agreed to the request not to demolish or discontinue the exhibition.

Since last 13th, the appeals for reopening the exhibition have been posted in English and spread through SNS.

The modern artist Iguchi, who initiated the signature, gathered the list and opinions of the signers, and delivered it to Governor Aichi Omura, the executive chairman of the exhibition today.

[Daisuke Iguchi / Artist: (Censorship) is a cultural terror and must never be left in history. Anything that seems inconvenient or not should be made into a work and discussed together. There is no such thing in Japanese art right now.]

He also announced that he will continue to receive online signatures until the exhibition resumes.

Japanese small artists have warned that the signing movement is spreading to the world art world, and that if the exhibition ceases, the Aichi Triennale will be a shameful exhibition unprecedented not only in Japan but also in the history of world art.
