The fire in the slums of the city of Dhaka left homeless from 3 thousand to 10 thousand people. The fire swept the slums in the north of the capital of Bangladesh, as a result of which nearly 2 thousand dwellings were damaged, more than 700 of which were completely destroyed. Three injured in a fire are reported. Local authorities say that the victims were avoided thanks to the celebrations in honor of the Muslim festival of Kurban Bayram, due to which most of the slum dwellers left their homes.
