“Competitions of the anniversary V Army International Games - 2019, which took place in 10 countries, were attended by 1 million 36 thousand 385 people,” the TASS Department quoted the statement.
It is specified that 4737 journalists were accredited to the games.
In total, 223 teams from 39 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, Central and Latin America took part in this year’s army, and 32 competitions were held in Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, India, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Uzbekistan.
Earlier, on the occasion of the completion of the Vth Army International Games, a light show and a festive salute took place in Alabin near Moscow.
On August 17, the Russian team at ARMY-2019 set a new speed record and won the final relay of the tank biathlon.
