On the other hand, activists on social networking sites sympathized with the owner of the restaurant and criticized what they considered a campaign targeting the Syrians, as they circulated a leaflet attributed to a woman who says she is a neighbor of both parties, and confirms that the woman (the problem owner) is trying to sell the apartment to the owner of the restaurant for an exaggerated price but refused.

The leaflet said that the owner of the restaurant has maintained the apartment at his expense because of what the lady said was damage as a result of the work of the restaurant, and installed air conditioning inside the apartment at his expense to address the high temperature.

As the crisis escalated on the communication sites, the security forces in Alexandria raided the restaurant and closed it in a major security crackdown, and the circulation of communication sites videos during the closure of the restaurant.
