The so-called wasp waist, the stretch between Södra station and Central station, has undergone a necessary renovation work during the summer.
All long-distance and regional trains south of Stockholm pass the wasp center, which means that major disruptions can affect up to 80 percent of all rail traffic in Sweden.
But despite the fact that the work is now complete, further delays await in the country's train traffic, including when the clearing work after the big fire in Hässleholm is still ongoing.
