It is reported by GBC News.

“After a hectic 46 days in the waters of Gibraltar, the tanker Grace 1, now called Adrian Darya, left the territory,” the statement said.

Earlier it became known that the Federal District of Columbia Court in the United States issued an arrest warrant for Grace 1. In turn, the Gibraltar authorities rejected the US request for the detention of an Iranian tanker.

On July 4, Royal Marines of the United Kingdom detained Grace 1 off the coast of Gibraltar due to the ship allegedly delivering oil to Syria.

The authorities later received official written assurances from the Iranian government that the ship would not unload its cargo in Syria, after which it was released.
