The Sharjah Misdemeanor Court has tried a case in which an Arab national was accused of assaulting his wife and brother, beating them at home after a fight with his brother.
Details of the incident dates back to last July, when the accused was at home and his brother-in-law came to an understanding with him because of personal disputes between him and his wife to resolve them, but the defendant beat his wife in front of her brother, which made him rush to defend her, but the accused beat him and assaulted him, which made him submit He and his sister reported to the accused. The court confronted the defendant with the charges against him.He denied them.He said that he was sitting in his house when they attacked him.He pointed out that his brother-in-law broke into his privacy.He was attacked and beaten at first inside the sanctity of his house, which in turn only responded.
In turn, the court postponed the case until 5 September, to summon the victims and hear their testimony and confront them with the accused and his statements.
