Along with prolonged protests against the Criminal Indian Bill and the Repatriation Act, polls show that more than four out of 10 Hong Kong citizens have given zero confidence in the Hong Kong government.

According to a Hong Kong media report yesterday (18th), the media recently commissioned a polling center of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and surveyed 842 citizens.

This is based on a score of 10 for full confidence and 0 for full confidence, lower than 3.61 in the June survey.

In particular, 43.5% of the respondents gave the Hong Kong government a zero point of complete distrust.

In the survey, confidence in the Hong Kong government was lower than that in China's central government.

Confidence in the central government fell from 3.48 in June to 2.96 in August.

40.3% of the respondents gave a zero point of complete distrust to the central government.

37.5% of respondents said that protests will not continue due to the strong suppression of the Hong Kong government.

Twenty-two percent of respondents said the demonstrations would gradually extinguish themselves, and 17 percent said the protests would cease because of the Hong Kong government's concessions.

13.5 percent of the respondents say the central government will stop the protests with the People's Liberation Army.
