Hundreds of Palestinians mourned on Sunday the bodies of three Palestinians killed by the Israeli army near the separation fence in the northern Gaza Strip.

The mourners performed the funeral prayers on the bodies of the three martyrs in mosques near their places of residence; they were then assembled in the Qassam mosque in the town of Beit Lahia (northern Gaza Strip), before they buried in the cemetery.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the killing of the three Palestinians, deploring the continued silence of the international community towards these crimes.

"The Zionist occupation continues to use excessive force and commit organized crimes against our Palestinian people, and this crime reflects its brutal behavior," Hamas said in a statement.

For its part, Islamic Jihad held the Israeli side fully responsible for its crimes against the Palestinians.
