Raed Moussa-Gaza

A few days ago, the Israeli army announced a plan to establish a new security fence in the Israeli rear and near the border towns adjacent to the security fence with the Gaza Strip, in addition to another wall that it has been building for a few months, as well as the sea wall in the north of the Gaza Strip. The ability of the resistance to overcome these obstacles and create alternatives.

According to Israeli media, the new wall is mainly intended to protect Israeli towns and streets near the border, immunize them from anti-tank missiles, and prevent frequent infiltrations from the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli media revealed that the new wall will cost millions of dollars, and will be six meters above the ground and the same underground.

Last May, Israel began to erect a concrete wall in the open area on the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip, after the resistance succeeded in carrying out a qualitative operation using a "Cornet" guided missile that targeted an Israeli military vehicle directly.

Israeli Channel 10 also published pictures and a video clip of the water wall built by the Israeli army inside the northern maritime borders of the Gaza Strip, in order to prevent the resistance from infiltrating into Israeli coastal areas, similar to the qualitative infiltration carried out by elements of the naval commando unit of the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the movement. The Islamic Resistance "Hamas" during the last war on the Gaza Strip in 2014.

Israel's announcement of the construction of the new wall coincided with the success of two drones belonging to the Al-Qassam Brigades to penetrate the border and return to the Gaza Strip safely.

Residents and experts of the island Net, that the drones are the latest tools of resistance in Gaza, which is constantly developing its capabilities to overcome the Israeli fortifications, including walls, and to achieve a balance of deterrence in any future military confrontation.

A field commander in the Al-Qassam Brigades called "Abu Musab", told Al-Jazeera Net, that the resistance practically tested the offensive capability of the drone during the escalation round last May, where it succeeded in directly targeting Israeli military vehicles on the border of the Gaza Strip.

Although Abu Musab acknowledged that Israel's construction of the walls around Gaza "somewhat impedes the work of the resistance," he stressed that the resistance does not stop developing its military capabilities, to overcome obstacles and respond to any Israeli attempts to attack Gaza, most notably the development of drones.

The Qassam Brigades announced in an official statement in 2014 for the first time that the success of its engineers in the manufacture of unmanned aircraft named "Ababel 1", has produced three models, the first: the A1A aircraft with reconnaissance missions, and the second: the aircraft A1B, which has offensive missions (dumping). The third is the A1C aircraft with suicide attack missions.

Abu Musab refused to disclose information about the development of these aircraft system - over the past few years - attributed by the Qassam Brigades to the launch of its first cores to the Tunisian engineer Mohammed Zouari, who was assassinated in Tunisia in 2015, and accuses the Israeli Mossad of being behind it.

He stressed that the resistance evaluates its performance and capabilities continuously, specifically after the major confrontations with the occupation, as happened after the first and second wars in 2008 and 2012, to surprise the occupation in the third war in 2014 with attack tunnels, rocket launchers from underground, the length of the missiles, and the naval commando unit carried out A qualitative in-depth Israeli operation to sneak across the sea.

Abu Musab stressed that Israel will not be able to protect itself with these walls that it is building around Gaza, as it failed to bring Gaza to a 13-year siege, and the failure of the Iron Dome system to confront the rockets of the resistance, it will spend millions on walls that will collapse before the "genius of resistance."

Regarding the link between the construction of the walls and the possibility of Israel launching a new war on Gaza, Abu Musab said that Israel is aware that any war will not be a picnic, and tried this in the recent escalation, during which the resistance succeeded through the joint operations room to fire hundreds of rockets in a short time, As well as the drones and cornet operations.

Palestinian military expert, retired Major General Wassef Erekat, stressed that Israel's construction of the walls around Gaza will not achieve 100% security. While Israel is spending millions to build these walls, the resistance of Gaza has proved that it does not stop the continuous search to develop its capabilities to overcome obstacles despite Siege and lack of possibilities.

Erekat told Al Jazeera Net that Israel is working to sell the illusion to the settlers, especially the residents of the so-called Gaza envelope, that the construction of the walls will provide them with security and safety, but this illusion will be dissipated in the first military confrontation, and the settlers will find themselves forced to leave or take refuge in shelters.

Erekat believes that the drones will be one of the highlights of the upcoming confrontation between Israel and the resistance in Gaza, as was the most prominent attack tunnels in the last war.

The success of the resistance in launching and using drones for imaging, surveillance and offensive purposes was considered a significant qualitative development, and will achieve an unprecedented balance, despite the tremendous destructive power that Israel possesses, compared to resistance factions that use their simple capabilities to defend themselves and their people.

Israeli expert Momen Miqdad told Al Jazeera Net that Israel started building an underground wall after the end of the war in 2014 in order to fight offensive tunnels.Although it relies heavily on it, it has not tested it yet.

Mekdad saw in the policy of building walls around Gaza as a mere "propaganda" by Israel, directed specifically to the settlers of the Gaza envelope, that the army is working heavily and continuously to reduce the danger from Gaza, but this propaganda will not become a conviction and reality before the outbreak of a major confrontation with Gaza.

Mekdad believes that the resistance that succeeded in developing drones and using them to target an Israeli tank, as well as infiltrating through the sea despite the strict 24-hour surveillance of Israeli gunboats, is able to find alternatives that suit the variables in the field.
