A 21-year-old has been arrested in the Valencian town of Torrent, after allegedly beating his minor girlfriend with a stick , municipal sources have reported.
The events occurred around 3 o'clock this morning when, for reasons that have not explained, the detainee took a stick and allegedly hit the girl, 17, all over the body.
The young man has been arrested by the Torrent Local Police and was transferred to the National Police units, which has reported that he has already been brought to justice. The same sources have indicated that the young man has a criminal record and on him weighs a restraining order on his stepfather's stepfather.
