4,138 children benefited from 4,639 psychological, social, legal, family and educational services provided by the Child Protection Department at the Sharjah Social Services Department during the first half of this year. The Director of the Department of Child Protection, Amina Rifai, said that the Department of Social Services seeks to provide full support and care for children in all aspects, based on its vision and mission to care for children and ensure that they enjoy all their rights, and strive to provide a safe environment for them, especially for children without social welfare.
She reviewed the services of the Department's call center, child assistance, family gathering and other services that provided psychological counseling, family counseling, family sessions, family reform and others.
