In the Swedish Olympic qualifier in the branch bowl (concrete ramp), 10-year-old Felicia Jacobsonn from Falkenberg placed as one. But it was just skateboarding that the new star shot would shine in from the beginning was not entirely clear.

- I started off by kick-kicking but because you only got to kick-kick certain times in the skateboard hall, it ended up that I tested skateboarding, says Felicia Jacobsson.

"I realized I'm good"

The first time Felicia got on a skateboard was four years ago and that's when she got interested in the sport.

- I started competing and in the end I came in first place and that's when I realized that I'm good. I thought it was fun, so I continued, says Felicia.

For Felicia, who won the Swedish Olympic qualification in the bowl, there is still a long way to go to the Olympics. But since Felicia is 10 years old, the 2024 Olympics are the most relevant. Until then, she will practice further, and she does so on the back of the plot.

"Eat, sleep and skateboard"

In Felicia's family, however, it is clear that it is precisely skateboarding that is the thing. At the back of the house in Falkenberg, a large concrete ramp is gaping and all accessories a child with skateboarding interest could dream of.

- We do nothing else in our everyday lives. We eat sleeping and skating, says mother Patricia.
