Two foreigners were injured in a fire at a hotel in Odessa
Among the victims of the fire at the Odessa Star Tokyo Hotel, eight Ukrainians, as well as a citizen of Lithuania and a citizen of Sierra Leone, were reported in the health department of the Odessa Regional Administration.
“Among the patients who received medical care, two residents of Odessa, three in the Odessa region, one in the Kherson region, one in the city of Sumy, one in the city of Mariupol, one citizen of Lithuania, one in Sierra Leone,” the representative of the department said at a briefing .
He also said that as a result of the fire 18 people were injured, including a child, ten of them were hospitalized.
At the same time, the condition of six people is assessed by doctors as serious.
Earlier, the National Police of Odessa region called the possible causes of the fire in Tokyo Star.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky took control of the situation.
The fire in the hotel in Odessa occurred on the night of August 16-17, eight people were killed.
