Zone is expanding

Meanwhile, in Primorye, where the flood ridge is taking place, the area of operation of the emergency regime has been expanded. Due to flooding, it was introduced on its territories by the Lesozavodsky urban district and the Oktyabrsky district.

“In Lesozavodsk, a spill of water, more than 80 houses have already hit the flood zone. Currently, two families were resettled, one of which was placed in a temporary accommodation center. In turn, Primhydromet noted that the situation on the rivers of the region remains tense. The most difficult situation is observed in the Razdolnaya river basin, the water level in which has reached dangerous hydrological significance. Unstable weather with precipitation of varying intensity is forecasted throughout the territory of the region. However, “we do not expect anything critical of precipitation throughout the territory of the region,” the department said.

Dominated by typhoons

The flood situation in the Far East is currently developing under the influence of two powerful typhoons Kros and Lekima. Because of them, 15 sections of roads in Primorye were blurred. And on Sakhalin, nine settlements, in which more than 7 thousand people live, were partially left without electricity.

“A tropical storm declared itself on the island with strong gusts of gusts of more than 30 meters per second. Nine settlements partially remained without electricity. Disaster recovery operations have been launched, ”the press service of the Sakhalin Oblast Government said.

Because of the typhoon Kros, the Pacific Fleet introduced storm preparedness, Pacific Fleet officials said.

“A wave of up to 3.5 meters is expected in Peter the Great Bay, up to 4-5 meters on the east coast,” the press service said.

At the same time, the Pacific Fleet emphasized, the deterioration of the weather will not significantly affect the combat readiness of formations and military units.
