The airline Transavia France plans to ensure 95% of its flights Sunday, the last day of the call to strike launched by the CGT union to hostesses and stewards, announced the management Saturday.

"Last minute disruptions can not be ruled out," warns in a statement the direction of this low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group, which will send SMS to "passengers affected by flight cancellations".

Since its launch on Friday, this strike of hostesses and stewards had a very limited impact on traffic. On Saturday, "the flight schedule is consistent with that announced" the day before with "97%" insured flights, told AFP a spokesman of the direction. Friday, only 5% of the flights had been canceled.

The hostesses and stewards on strike protest against "catastrophic human and material management" in the company, according to the CGT, the majority union within the company.

In its notice of strike, the CGT demands in particular "the strict respect" and "in their entirety" collective agreements concerning hostesses and stewards, as well as "the establishment of a single contract for all cabin crew (commercial cabin crew) , that is to say the hostesses and stewards, ed) within the Air France group ".

The union also wants to "actively participate in all discussions and negotiations concerning the development of Transavia". Management replies that "the negotiations on the development of Transavia are at group level between the pilots and the management of the Air France Group".
