With the match of the new coaches between Nantes and Marseille, the important tests for Bordeaux and Monaco, and a solid PSG on the field but heckled by the Neymar record outside, the second day of Ligue 1 should already give the first trends for the season.

Paris SG, still without Neymar?

Easy winner of Nimes on the first day (3-0), Paris Saint-Germain moves Sunday (21:00) in Rennes, without being more advanced than last week on the "Neymar soap opera".

Clarity of the group for the resumption of Ligue 1 because of "more advanced discussions than before" with Real Madrid and Barcelona about a potential start according to sports director Leonardo, the Brazilian star is again very uncertain for the trip to Rennes, although negotiations are at a standstill.

Without his N.10, the PSG will however have the opportunity to take the lead in Lyon at the end of the second day.

Nantes - OM, the match of the new coaches

Malmed by Reims at the Vélodrome opening (2-0), Olympique Marseille will have to raise the head in Nantes Saturday (17:30). André Villas-Boas, the Portuguese coach who arrived in Marseille at the end of May, missed his debut, as Christian Gourcuff, at the head of the Canaries for eight days, who lost in Lille (2-1).

Time is the main constraint of the two technicians: "AVB" must quickly forget the catastrophic last season and this inaugural defeat to Marseilles fans, while the replacement of Vahid Halilhodzic, who says he has made good progress in the knowledge of his group, must quickly inject binder to a collective still in running.

Lille, still strong

Lille has lost Nicolas Pépé and Rafael Leao during the offseason, but the surprising dolphin PSG last season does not seem to have weakened, and discusses his move to Amiens (Saturday at 20:00) with the hope of continuing on his beautiful launched last season.

Winners of FC Nantes (2-1) in opening, the Dogues of Christophe Galtier seem to have found the ideal center-forward to forget the departures, in the person of Victor Osimhen, Nigerian striker of 20 years double scorer at the first day, and which should again be in the eleven Lille in Picardy.

Tests for Bordeaux and Monaco, Reims on its way

In doubt after a failed debut, the Girondins de Bordeaux, defeated 3-1 in Angers in opening without Laurent Koscielny, who should reinstate a defense against Montpellier three Saturday (20:00), must quickly raise the bar for not relive the same scenario than last season (14th).

AS Monaco, who had saved themselves last season and had a stinging 3-0 defeat against Lyon in the league in Ligue 1, will also have to recover in Metz Saturday (20:00).

Reims, solid winner of OM at the Vélodrome for his first match, will finally try to continue on this nice home run against Strasbourg, Sunday (17:00).
