In the Odessa region declared mourning in connection with a fire in a hotel
In the Odessa region of Ukraine, August 18 was declared the day of mourning for those who died as a result of the fire at the Tokyo Star Hotel. This was reported in the regional administration.
“To declare August 18, 2019 in the region a day of mourning for the dead,” the document says on the administration’s website.
In the region at state institutions and enterprises flags will be lowered.
Earlier, the number of victims of a fire in a hotel in Odessa increased to nine. The National Police of Odessa region are considering three versions of the causes of the fire.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky took control of the investigation of the incident.
