It is specified that at 00:00 Moscow time on August 18, there were 75 forest fires in Russia on an area of ​​104 thousand 341 hectares.

According to the agency, most of the fires (31) were recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Here forests burn on an area of ​​56 thousand 304 ha.

Earlier, Acting Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Mikhail Klinov announced the stabilization of the situation with forest fires in Siberia.

On August 8, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the government to allocate about 6 billion rubles to extinguish forest fires in a number of regions.
