“Today, we were additionally asked to introduce emergency modes Lesozavodsk and the Oktyabrsky district. Such permission has been given, ”said Oleg Melnikov, acting vice-governor of the region, following a meeting of the operational headquarters.
He also specified that the emergency mode is also already operating in the Lazovsky, Dalnerechensky, Pozharsky, Pogranichny districts and the Ussuriysky urban district.
According to him, as a whole, about 130 houses are flooded around the region, while the situation in the region is not critical.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergencies reported that in Primorye 115 floodplain territories were flooded due to the flood.
The region also announced a storm warning on August 16-17 in connection with the release of typhoon Krosa into the north-eastern part of the Sea of Japan.
