The Cabildo de Gran Canaria has proceeded to the evacuation of several points in Tejeda and to the cutting of roads as a result of the fire started this Saturday in the Barranco de Los Pajaritos, within the municipality of Valleseco (Gran Canaria).
Specifically, the Island Corporation has qualified that the Rincon de Tejeda, Cruz de Tejeda and the Parador have been evicted, although for the moment the evacuation of the town center will not take place.
This decision has been taken because the fire has an important topographic component to climb the area of Moriscos and Constantine .
For its part, although this area was treated with winter burns to cushion any type of fire, it can jump to the Tejeda basin due to the great potential of the fire.
In addition, the Cabildo has explained that the southeast wind existing on Saturday in the middle of the island can send pebbles to the northwest and expand by mediations.
