The Russian Ministry of Labor has proposed raising the minimum wage to 12,130 rubles

According to the new draft, it is proposed to amend Article 1 of the Federal Law of June 19, 2000 “On the Minimum Wage”.

“To set forth the first part in the next edition ... To establish the minimum wage from January 1, 2020 in the amount of (no lower than. - RT ) 12 130 rubles per month,” the text of the document says.

Earlier, a draft law was introduced in the State Duma on raising the minimum wage of teachers, doctors and cultural workers when fulfilling the labor standard to a double of the subsistence level.

Since January 1, 2019, the Russian government set the minimum wage at 11,280 rubles.
