The tenor's granddaughter studied Tourism Business Administration and moved to Puerto Vallarta to collaborate on different projects, although her great opportunity came in 1999 from the hand of Playboy magazine. Domingo's granddaughter was selected, from more than 15,000 candidates, to appear on eight covers of the magazine. As part of that coverage, Armant confessed that he was hardly related to his grandfather: "It's a shame, because he is an interesting man that I admire.
