The agency reported on Facebook.

“We strongly recommend that you refrain from visiting crowded places during protests and rallies, as well as follow the news when planning trips,” the report said.

Large-scale protests in Hong Kong began in June due to consideration of amendments to the extradition law: if approved, they will allow Hong Kong to extradite suspected jurisdictions with which it does not have an extradition agreement, including Taiwan, Macau and mainland China.

On August 13, all flights from Hong Kong were again canceled due to the seizure of the airport building by protesters.

The police reported that protesters began surrounding the police stations and attacking them, including damaging office premises.
