According to RIA Novosti, referring to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the region, the victims were hospitalized with suspicion of poisoning with an unknown substance.
It is specified that they were all related by kinship or official relations.
“One of the adults died, the rest are in the hospital,” the report said.
It is also noted that all the victims consumed home-made sunflower oil, purchased from the same manufacturer.
According to TASS in the Ministry of Health of the region, the condition of the six poisoned is assessed as moderate and satisfactory.
In April, a criminal case was opened in Yakutia after the poisoning in the school canteen of 11 students of the Myurun youth gymnasium of the Ust-Aldan region.
