In Kazakhstan, a Russian woman was evacuated in the mountains
In the East Kazakhstan region, rescuers evacuated a Russian woman who suffered as a result of an avalanche during an ascent to the mountain. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the regional emergency department.
It is clarified that a group of Russian climbers climbed Mount Belukha.
“As a result of spontaneous avalanches, one of the group’s members, a 63-year-old resident of Tyumen, was caught in a stream of snow,” the press service said.
It is noted that the woman received bruises and injuries, including a broken arm. She was evacuated by helicopter and taken to the hospital.
Earlier, Russian rescuers evacuated a climber from Australia from Elbrus.
