Teenagers from London: Death of 15-year-old Nora: No evidence of crime

Seremban (dpa) - The disappeared in the jungle of Malaysia and found dead after ten days 15-year-old Nora died of internal bleeding.
The autopsy revealed that the teenager from London had suffered from hunger-induced gastrointestinal bleeding, the Malaysian police said. There are therefore no signs of a crime: it speaks so far nothing for a rape or kidnapping.
The young people from London wanted to spend their holidays in an eco-resort in the mountainous hinterland of the capital Kuala Lumpur with their parents. Shortly after her arrival she disappeared from her room. According to the parents, Nora was born with a brain defect, she was mentally retarded and had difficulty walking.
The teenager - daughter of an Irishman and a Frenchman - was found only 2.5 kilometers from the hotel by a local. A helicopter took the body to a hospital where the parents identified it. The autopsy will start this Wednesday. The ten-day search involved some 350 volunteers, volunteers and even a shaman.
