- In recent years, we have received a lot of comments that there is a lot of paper to be submitted, says Tor Andersson, education director at Linköping.

But at the start of the school year, at least some of them must have been digitized.

- This is a first step. It also gives us an opportunity to see that the technology works.

In the clip above, Education Director Tor Andersson tells us more about which forms are now being digitized.

Tor Andersson admits that the municipality has lagged behind. Outdated computer systems are a reason why digitalization has taken so long.

But after Norrköping and Linköping have done a joint procurement, it is time.

Everything digitized next year

However, Linköping has a clearer goal than Norrköping. Here, all forms in the municipality must be digitized as early as 2020.

Motala and Gotland are also developing e-services, but there is no pronounced deadline here either.

"Right now, work is underway to ensure the security of the e-services from a data protection perspective," writes Monica Carlström, Administrative Manager of Motala Municipality.
