Monaco's international striker Rony Lopes has signed up with Spain's Sevilla FC for five years, the Principality's club said on Wednesday.

A transfer announced a few minutes after that of French international Wissam Ben Yedder, who made the opposite way, from Andalusia to the Rock.

Rony Lopes was recruited in 2015 by Monaco about 15 million euros to the English club Manchester City, before being loaned to Lille for a season and a half.

Returning to Monaco in 2017, he had discovered the Portuguese selection following his very good season 2017-2018 (15 goals and 4 assists in L1).

According to various sources close to the case, this transfer is estimated at 20 million euros.
