The Republic of South Africa has announced the exemption of UAE nationals from holders of diplomatic, private and ordinary passports from the advance visa, provided that the exemption decision - which came by a decision of the Government of South Africa - comes into force as of today, where citizens can travel to South Africa Without visas, stay for up to 90 days.

South Africa's Ministry of Internal Affairs has instructed that guidance be disseminated through immigration agencies across the country and its embassies around the world.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, praised South Africa's declaration of exemption of UAE citizens from the visa, stressing the distinguished friendly relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries.

He stressed that the South African government's initiative to exempt UAE nationals from holders of diplomatic, private and ordinary passports from advance visas is an important achievement in addition to the list of achievements of UAE diplomacy, led by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

He added that the decision to exempt the UAE nationals from the pre-entry visa reflects the strength of relations between the two countries, in addition to it will promote new opportunities for business, trade and investment.

Al Mazrouei explained that this exemption is part of the diplomatic and consular efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation aimed at enhancing the UAE's position at the global level, stressing that these efforts come within the framework of its keenness to provide distinguished consular services to citizens to facilitate their travel to the world on the one hand, and the consolidation of bilateral relations with Those countries by enhancing cooperation in the fields of tourism, economic and investment on the other.

He pointed out that the UAE national is the main priority in the concerns of the leadership, which works to achieve happiness for citizens.

He stressed that the exemption of citizens from the visa to the Republic of South Africa reflects the UAE's position on the international arena and respect and confidence, and reflects the keenness of the friendly South African government to strengthen relations with the UAE and promote common interests in various fields.
