Railways announced the obligation of the conductors to collect bedding

Train passengers are not required to collect bedding after the trip, this is the responsibility of the guides. This was stated in the press service of the Federal Passenger Company ("daughter" of Russian Railways).

According to RIA Novosti, the reason for the publication of the comment was the video that appeared on social networks. In the video, the passenger of the train roughly answers the request and hand over the linen. In particular, the woman indicates that the conductor should do this.

“Many passengers ask the question, is it necessary to rent bed linen after the trip? We hasten to answer it - no, it’s not necessary. The conductor will collect it on his own after arriving at the terminal station, ”the message says.

It is noted that also at the request of the passenger, the conductor should cover the bedding. It should be borne in mind that first aid is provided to passengers with children, the elderly and people with disabilities.

In December 2017, Russian Railways announced that long-distance train passengers who bought a ticket to the upper shelf can only board the lower ones with the consent of the passengers who paid for these seats.
