British Prince, model agent, matchmaker ... the scandal around this American financier accused of sex trafficking involves many personalities.

ON DECRYPT

His death has (r) opened a Pandora's box from which every day new names escape. Last Saturday, Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier accused of sexual assault on minors and sex trafficking, committed suicide in his Manhattan jail. The investigation revealed the names of several personalities who gravitated around him and are now suspected of having also participated in these misdeeds. Among them, Prince Andrew, son of Elizabeth II, but also Jean-Luc Brunel, a French model agent.

Ghislaine Maxwell, right arm of Epstein

The first of them remains Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of the British magnate Robert Maxwell. The 57-year-old former partner of Jeffrey Epstein would have played the role of "rabateuse", recruiting teenage girls to satisfy the desires of the financier and his friends. A young woman, Virginia Giuffre, accuses her of having "recruited" her when she was only 16 to exploit her sexually.

According to several witnesses cited in the current investigation, Ghislaine Maxwell was in charge of "recruiting, maintaining, harboring and organizing the trafficking of young girls for Epstein". She would also have participated in some non-consensual sex.

Today, justice is actively seeking her, but according to US media, the 50-year-old has not been found since she sold her Manhattan home in 2016.

Jean-Luc Brunel, the supplier

A French name also appears in the Epstein file: that of Jean-Luc Brunel, co-founder of the MC2 model agency. An activity that would have actually allowed him to "deliver dozens of girls" minors to the US financier, as denounced the same Virginia Giuffre.

During a search, authorities seized messages allegedly left by Jean-Luc Brunel to Jeffrey Epstein. In a language barely coded, the French offered the billionaire the "lessons" of a 16-year-old Russian teenager.

In addition, the co-founder of MC2 is also accused of having himself abused minors. Since the 1980s, several women have claimed to have been drugged and then raped by the man who is now in his seventies. In 2015, he denied any participation in a statement.

Prince Andrew, accused by several women

The second son of Elizabeth II, Prince Andrew, is also in turmoil, accused by several women of rape on minor. Virginia Giuffre said that he had abused her three times when she was only 17 years old. Another woman accuses him of indecent behavior.

Again, these accusations are not recent. Buckingham Palace has officially communicated on the subject, saying that the Epstein case "does not concern the Duke of York."

Two politicians pointed fingers

The names of two American politicians are also closely related to that of Jeffrey Epstein. George Mitchell, a former Maine senator who died today, and Bill Richardson, former US ambassador under Bill Clinton, have both been charged by Virginia Giuffre with rape for several years. Both denied.

If the names of Bill Clinton or Donald Trump appear regularly in the context of the scandal, it is because of the proximity they could have with Jeffrey Epstein, spending evenings with him and / or borrowing his planes to perform flights . But so far, neither the former US president nor the current president have been explicitly accused of committing criminal or criminal acts.
