Connected water area off Senkaku 4 vessels of China Coast Guard sailed on August 14 at 11:05
According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, after 5 pm on the 13th, off the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, one Chinese Coast Guard ship newly entered the connected water area just outside the Japanese territorial waters. Four vessels are navigating in the connected waters.
As of 9:00 am on the 14th, two of the four vessels are sailing approximately 32 kilometers east-northeast of Taisho Island in the Senkaku Islands, and the other two are sailing approximately 37 kilometers to 43 kilometers northwest of Kuba Island. The Coast Guard Headquarters continues to warn and monitor the territorial waters.
