At the approach of the municipal, the conquest of Paris sharpens many appetites. With their success in the European, where they have risen to third place, Europe Ecology-Greens hopes to take advantage of this election to transform the test.
"We do not forbid anything," said David Cormand the national secretary of EELV Wednesday at the microphone of Sebastien Krebs on Europe 1. "There are many cities where we have already made important scores in municipal: Paris, Nantes, Rennes, Besançon, I also think of Lille ", enumerates the MEP. And to add: "I think that we are able to govern Paris, if Parisians and Parisians decide."
For David Cormand, even if Anne Hidalgo, the current mayor, remains a privileged partner, nothing guarantees at this stage the establishment of an alliance, as in the previous election. "It depends on the scores and how we can build reconciliations," he says, while refusing to do "hidalgo bashing".
