Kharkov Design Bureau may cease its work

As the press service of the state concern indicates, this is due to a fine of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the amount of 82.3 million hryvnias and the cessation of financing by the Ministry of the development of new types of armored vehicles.

“In fact, KHKBM was left without an order to manufacture new equipment, without money to develop promising samples, received a multi-million fine, which threatens to completely block the enterprise,” the statement said.

It is specified that the design bureau transfers “almost a thousandth staff of the enterprise to a two-day working week”.

Earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danilyuk said that the country's military-industrial complex is “in rather poor condition.”
