According to Ukrinform with reference to Ivanova, for such an interrogation, Poroshenko’s consent is necessary.

“Such an interrogation may occur with the consent of the interrogated,” she said.

According to Ivanova, it is still unknown whether the interrogation of the ex-president will take place using a polygraph.

Earlier, the court allowed the State Security Committee to interrogate Poroshenko using a polygraph. At the same time, on August 12, the ex-head of Ukraine himself expressed his readiness to go through a lie detector, but only on the air of the Direct channel.

At the end of July, 11 court proceedings were reported, in which Poroshenko appeared.
