One of China's Olympic champion players in 2016 was suspended for four years for doping at the EPO, the national anti-doping agency (Chinada) said on Wednesday.

Yang Fangxu, 24, was tested positive last August at the EPO in an out-of-competition test and will miss the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where the Chinese will try to defend their title.

Yang, just 21 years old at the time of the last Games, had already participated actively in the Olympic title by scoring three points in the final against Serbia.
