The family thinks of an abduction but justice does not confirm

The qualification of kidnapping and sequestration retained by the parquet of Paris is a global qualification, but the justice does not have, for the moment, of specific elements letting think about this track. Moreover, the French justice can only investigate abroad on criminal facts. It was therefore not possible to choose the qualification of "disturbing disappearance" for example.

As soon as Nora Quoirin disappeared, her family thought of an abduction, stating that the girl, suffering from a slight mental handicap, was not used to running away. The relatives of the teenager filed a complaint against X Monday in France. A Malaysian lawyer has been appointed to represent their interests.
