New York (AP) - In the newly flared up conflict over the autonomy of the Kashmir region of India, Pakistan has asked the countries of the UN Security Council to convene a special session. The deprivation of India's autonomy status for the area poses a "threat to world peace," Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wrote in a letter to the UN body. Diplomats say that the topic may be put on the agenda this week.
