Australian police arrest six people after finding large MDMA party

One of the country's largest drug finds has been made in Australia. A total of 90 million Australian dollars - approximately 55 million euros - of MDMA powder was seized.

The police have arrested four suspects in Australia. Among them there are at least four Britons, writes BBC News. The other two arrested are an Australian man and woman. Almost 770 kilos of MDMA powder has been seized.

According to the Australian police, the six could have produced at least 12 million MDMA pills. Moreover, the drugs would have been of "excellent quality". Agents even speak of "the purest drugs ever found in the country".

Related to this case, two suspects arrested were also arrested in New Zealand.

The six would have been part of a criminal organization based in the UK. The group would have wanted to spread the drugs all over the country, the Australian police said.
