Head of Operations Department at Sharjah Police General Command Lt. Col. Mohammad Rahma Al Ghazal confirmed that the Central Operations Room received "20" 743 phone calls during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, through 999 for emergency cases, while "2644" received a non-emergency call on the number 901, Contain general inquiries, and police services provided during the holiday.
Lt. Col. Al-Ghazal explained that the reports received by the Central Operations Room at Sharjah Police were classified according to their importance, by taking the necessary measures to deal with the nature of each communication separately, where the communications were classified into criminal, traffic and emergency, and deal with them immediately to the competent authorities, stressing the keenness of all Operators in the operating room provide the best services to enhance the quality of life of the UAE society.
