According to RIA Novosti, Vyshinsky was taken to a courthouse under guard in handcuffs.

Earlier, the Podolsky court of Kiev extended the arrest of the head of RIA Novosti Ukraine until September 19.

On July 29, Andrei Domansky, Vyshinsky’s lawyer, announced the appeal of the decision to extend the arrest to the journalist.

Vyshinsky was detained in Kiev on May 15, 2018. The Ukrainian authorities suspect him of supporting the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass and treason.
