  • Politics: The keys to the speech of the presidential candidate

The investiture speech of Isabel Díaz Ayuso has not fulfilled the expectations of Vox, which has considered insufficient the winks that the PP candidate has been making for the Presidency of the Community of Madrid. Therefore, Rocío Monasterio has left in the air the meaning of his vote waiting to "confirm" tomorrow, during the second part of the investiture, that there is a clear commitment of PP and Citizens with the points agreed with his party.

Vox, whose 12 deputies are decisive for a majority of center-right in the Assembly, thus sends a clear notice to PP and, above all, to Citizens, who expects to hear the same to keep his "yes" to Ayuso so that the popular can be president of the Community of Madrid.

The objective of Vox is that the Journal of Sessions of the Madrid Assembly be a kind of notarial act before the people of Madrid of the commitment of the new PP-Cs government with Vox. Once Citizens have blocked any signature of a single legislature document by the three parties.

Consequently, the Vox leader in Madrid has called Díaz Ayuso and the Cs leader in Madrid, Ignacio Aguado, to verbalize the points of the program to which they have committed during the negotiations. "Tomorrow we want to hear Mr. Aguado and Mrs. Díaz Ayuso in their reply describe the program points they have signed with us. If they do tomorrow we will give the votes," said Monasterio, who warned that the road is "very simple ":" Tomorrow they have to read "the agreement with Vox.

Monasterio has been "optimistic" and confident that it is what will happen because, he stressed, Ayuso and Aguado "have committed" to Vox to do so. But he has veiled the threat of not voting in favor. "If we confirm that this is done, then we will give our delighted votes." And if it is not done ?, he has been asked. "We hope they will do it tomorrow," he said, "we have all day tomorrow."

For now, Vox believes that the winks regarding minors or not speaking specifically of gender violence but violence against women are not enough, since "many points" of the agreement with Vox have been left out and "do not appear" in the Ayuso speech.

In view of what happens tomorrow, Vox believes that its commitment to the government of PP and Citizens would end in the investiture and that, from there, they will be free to exercise a strong and vigilant opposition. "When it is invested [Díaz Ayuso], the commitment of PP and Cs with the Vox program begins," said Monasterio.
