When police arrived at the scene, the two men were not present at the scene, but a vehicle with hose equipment could be found nearby.

To try to find the two men, a dog patrol was called to the place. The dogs were given a trail that led the police to Linghem train station. Two men in their 35s and 50s who were arrested were found at the station.

Police do not believe the men should have been able to steal any gasoline from the cars. The two men were arrested by prosecutors on Tuesday morning and are suspected of preparing for theft.
