The Paris Bourse opened a 0.32% decline in a wave of risk aversion exacerbated by tensions in Hong Kong, the collapse of the Argentine markets and the Italian political crisis, against a backdrop of a trade war.
At 9:00 am, the CAC 40 yielded 17.37 points to 5,292.94 points. The day before, the index ended slightly down (-0.33%).
