"The flood ridge on the Amur River is shifting from the settlement of Nizhnespasskoye of the Jewish Autonomous Region towards the city of Khabarovsk," the message on the website of the State Ministry for Emergencies in the Khabarovsk Territory says.

It is noted that the water level near Khabarovsk on the morning of August 13 was 558 cm. Water rise by 10-20 cm is expected within two days.

It is also reported about the flooding of nine household plots located on the coastal territory of the city.

"Also in the power of the elements is more than 1300 summer cottages on island territories - the Bolshoi Ussuriysky, Dachny and Cable islands," the report says.

In April, flooding of 700 summer cottages near Khabarovsk was reported.
