“For his courage and decisiveness in saving people under extreme conditions, Alexey was awarded the Order of Courage posthumously,” the press service quoted Interfax as saying.

A fifth grader Alexei Martynenko during a fire in the Holdomi children's camp in July 2019 helped children from a burning tent to escape. The boy received severe burns and died in the hospital.

As a result of an emergency in the camp, four children were killed and a criminal case was opened.

Earlier, URA.RU, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported that the sergeant who was killed in the attack in Surgut will be presented posthumously for reward.
